What the modules are
| Module | What it covers | Can be turned off |
|---|---|---|
| Rentals | Units, tenants, leases, rent, maintenance, vendors, expenses and owner statements. | No, always on |
| Fractional ownership | Markets and listings, orders, the cap table, transfers between investors and distributions. | Yes. On unless you turned it off. |
When you sign up, onboarding asks What do you manage?. Choosing rentals turns the fractional ownership module off. Choosing fractional ownership or both leaves it on. You can change it at any time.
Turn it on or off
- Open Settings, then Modules.
- Turn Fractional ownership on or off.
- Save. The navigation changes for everyone in your organization.
What turning it off hides
- The Fractional ownership section of the navigation: Markets, Orders, Transfers and Distributions.
- The fractionation fields of properties, such as total fractions, fraction price and the sponsor reserve, and the fractionation step of the property wizard.
Properties, units, tenants, leases, rent, maintenance, vendors, expenses, clients, documents, messages, announcements and reports stay as they are.
Note: Turning the module off hides it. It does not delete markets, orders, holdings or distributions. Turn it on again and everything is where you left it.
Important: Keep the module on while investors hold fractions or a listing is open, so your team can still settle orders, keep the cap table and run distributions.
