Before you start

These steps use the fractional ownership module. It is on unless you chose rentals only during onboarding. See Turn the fractional ownership module on or off.

The path in ten steps

  1. Create your account and confirm your email. See Create your account and organization.
  2. Finish onboarding: your organization details, what you manage, your team and your portal address.
  3. Add a property with its financials, photos and fractions. See Add a property and Fractions and pricing.
  4. Add clients and put them into a group. See Add a client and Groups.
  5. Add your documents, such as the investment memorandum and the risk disclosure. See The document vault.
  6. Create a market and a listing, then publish. See Create a market and Create a listing.
  7. Invite your clients to the portal. See Invite clients to the portal.
  8. Approve a subscription and record the payment, then settle the order. See The order lifecycle.
  9. Check the cap table on the property's Ownership tab. See Cap table and ledger.
  10. Run a distribution and publish statements. See Run a distribution and Statements.

Tips for the first session

  • A property is saved as a draft after the location step of the wizard, so you can stop and continue later.
  • During the free trial you can have up to 3 active clients and 3 team members. See The 14-day free trial.
  • If the property is let, add its units, tenants and leases too. Rent collected and expenses then feed the property's Operations tab, which helps you size each distribution. See The Operations tab.

Tip: Use the Preview as client option on a market to check what a given client would see before you invite anyone.
