Add a client

Create an investor record in a minute, choose between an individual and an entity, and complete the profile when you are ready.

  • Updated
  • For managers

Who can do this: Owners, admins and managers

Quick create

  1. Open Clients and choose Add client.
  2. Choose the client type: an individual, or an entity such as a company, trust, fund or foundation.
  3. Enter the name (first and last name, or the legal name), the email address and optionally a phone number, a status and groups.
  4. Choose Add client.

Everything else can be added later on the profile. The email address must be unique among your clients, whatever the capitalisation.

Important: Setting a client to active uses a billable client seat, and during the trial you can have 3 active clients. If you are not ready to bill, create the client as a lead or a prospect. See Client statuses and seats.
