Priorities
| Priority | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Urgent | Safety risks or damage that spreads: no heating in winter, a burst pipe, a broken entrance door. |
| High | Problems that affect daily life and should be fixed within days. |
| Normal | The default. Repairs that can be scheduled. |
| Low | Cosmetic work and improvements. |
Urgent open work orders are counted separately on the dashboard, so nobody misses them. See A tour of your dashboard.
Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | Reported and waiting to be planned. |
| Scheduled | A date is agreed with the vendor or the tenant. |
| In progress | Work has started. |
| On hold | Waiting, for example for parts, access or an owner's approval. |
| Completed | The work is done. See Complete a work order. |
| Cancelled | Not needed after all, or reported twice. |
Note: Completed and cancelled are final. Create a new work order if the problem comes back.
Open, scheduled, in progress and on hold all count as open work orders. Change the status from the work order page.
Board and list
The Maintenance page shows work orders as a board with a column per status, or as a list. Filter by status, priority, property or vendor, or show only open work orders.
