Who can do this: Owners, admins and managers

Create a work order

  1. Open Maintenance in the Operations section of the navigation and choose New work order. You can also start from a property, a unit or a tenant.
  2. Choose the property and, if the job concerns one, the unit.
  3. Enter a short title, such as Boiler not heating, and a description.
  4. Choose the category and the priority.
  5. Optionally choose the tenant who reported it, the date it was reported, a vendor, a scheduled date and an estimated cost.
  6. Save. The work order gets a number such as M-000031 and the status open.

A new work order sends the webhook event work_order.created when you use webhooks.
