Units

Edit or archive a unit

Change a unit's details at any time, mark it unavailable during works, and archive a unit you no longer let. A unit with a running lease cannot be archived.

Who can do this: Owners, admins and managers

Edit a unit

Open the unit and choose Edit. Changing the label, the area or the market rent does not change any lease. The rent a tenant pays is always the one on the lease.

Mark a unit unavailable

Turn on Unavailable while a unit cannot be let, for example during a renovation, after water damage or while it is in your own use. The unit leaves the occupancy calculation until you turn it off again.

Archive a unit

  1. Open the unit and choose Archive.
  2. Confirm.

An archived unit disappears from lists and can no longer be chosen for a new lease. Its leases, ledger and work orders stay on record. Show archived units with the Include archived filter.

Important: A unit with an active lease or a lease in notice cannot be archived. End the lease first. See Lease statuses.

Tip: Archiving frees the label, so after you merge two flats into one you can archive both and add the new unit under either name.
