Invoices, VAT and tax IDs

Where to find invoices, how tax is added, and how to put your VAT ID on them.

Invoices

Every invoice is listed on the Billing page with its date and total, with a link to the PDF hosted by Stripe.

Tax

  • Prices are in US dollars before tax.
  • Stripe Tax works out VAT or sales tax from your billing address and adds it to the invoice.
  • Business customers can enter a VAT or tax ID at checkout or later in the Stripe customer portal, where the billing address can also be changed.

Changes to the address or tax ID apply to later invoices. Ask us through the contact form if an issued invoice needs correcting.
