Entities, representatives and beneficial owners

Record a company, trust, fund or foundation as a client, with the people who act for it and the people who own it.

Who can do this: Owners, admins and managers

An entity client

Choose Entity when you add the client. Record the legal name, trading name, registration number, jurisdiction, incorporation date, tax ID, registered and correspondence addresses and, optionally, the LEI.

Representatives

Add each person who acts for the entity with their name, role, email and phone, and mark who is a signatory. A company with two directors can give both of them portal access, because one client can have several portal users. See Invite clients to the portal.

Beneficial owners

Add the individuals who ultimately own or control the entity: name, ownership percentage, nationality and date of birth. Ownership cannot exceed 100 percent. Their identifier numbers are encrypted like other sensitive data.

Tip: Ask for the beneficial owner declaration as part of the KYC checklist and link the signed document to it.
