Valuation sources
SourceUse it for
AppraisalA formal valuation by an appraiser.
Broker opinionAn estimate from an agent or broker.
InternalYour own assessment.
Purchase priceThe price paid, as the first value on record.

What happens next

  • The valuation with the latest date is the current valuation, whatever order you enter them in.
  • NAV per fraction, yields and every investor's portfolio value update from it.
  • Investors see the value per fraction over time in their portal, drawn from your valuation history.
  • The history appears as a chart and a table on the Financials tab.

Tip: Record a valuation at least once per reporting period, and attach the appraisal as a document. Investors and auditors will look for the date and the source.
