CSV import and export formats

The exact columns for importing clients, properties and opening balances, and for the cap table and bank exports.

  • Updated
  • For managers

General rules

  • Files are UTF-8 comma-separated values with a header row. A byte-order mark is accepted.
  • Imports are checked completely first. If any row is invalid, nothing is imported, and the report names the row and the column.
  • Write dates as YYYY-MM-DD, for example 2026-03-31.
  • Cells that start with =, +, - or @ are escaped in exports so spreadsheets do not run them as formulas.
